Welcome to Bayyinah Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Bayyinah Academy and you (“user,” “client,” or “guardian”)—whether you are enrolling yourself, your child, or another individual in our online Quran, Arabic, or Islamic Studies programs. By accessing our website or registering for our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our website, register for classes, or access our services in any form.

  • Student: A Student is any individual enrolled in and receiving educational services through Bayyinah Academy’s online platform. This includes Quranic, Islamic, or academic instruction. Minors may be enrolled as students, provided they are registered and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. For individuals under the age of 13, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to provide verifiable consent—such as a signed consent form, valid identification, or confirmation via call or email. The parent or guardian remains fully responsible for the student’s participation, behaviour, and adherence to these Terms and Conditions.

By continuing, you confirm that:.

You are 13 years of age or older, or a parent/legal guardian acting on behalf of a minor. If the student is under the age of 13, you agree to complete any required verification steps, such as providing consent via form, ID, or direct confirmation.

You accept full legal responsibility for the student’s use of Bayyinah Academy’s platform, including compliance with all policies and terms.

2. General

By enrolling or using any services provided by Bayyinah Academy, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions as the binding agreement governing your relationship with the Academy.

Tutors engaged by Bayyinah Academy provide services as independent professionals. They are not employees or representatives of the Academy, and no employment or agency relationship is created by their involvement.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not proceed further and should leave the website immediately.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the full and binding understanding between you and Bayyinah Academy, superseding any prior agreements, communications, or expectations related to our services.

3. Eligibility

  • Individuals must be at least 13 years old to register and use the platform independently.
  • Students under 13 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who will provide verifiable consent and remain responsible for the student’s participation.
  • All classes and services are delivered in accordance with Islamic teachings and values, and are intended for users who respect this educational framework.

4. Child Privacy

  • Bayyinah Academy does not knowingly allow registration or data submission from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.
  • Any personal information submitted by a child under 13 without proper consent will be promptly removed from our systems.
  • If you believe we may have collected personal data from your child without your permission, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

5. Cancellations, Tutor Replacement, and Class Rescheduling

  • Class Cancellations: Students or parents must notify the assigned tutor and the Admin Team at least 4 hours in advance to cancel a class. Cancellations made after this time are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
  • Class Rescheduling: Classes may be rescheduled within the current billing cycle, subject to tutor availability. All rescheduled sessions must be completed within the same month/package and cannot be carried over. Advance notice of at least 4 hours is required to reschedule.
  • Tutor Replacement: In case a tutor becomes unavailable due to illness, leave, or any other reason, Bayyinah Academy will assign a qualified replacement tutor. You will be notified in advance and may choose to continue with the new tutor or request a refund for that session.
  • Tutor Change Requests: Parents or students may request a change of tutor at any time by contacting the Admin Team. We will review the request and, where possible, assign an alternative qualified tutor.

6. Fees and Payment

We issue invoices every 28 days, and payment is expected within 2 days of receipt. All fees are payable in advance according to the selected package. If payment is delayed, classes may be temporarily suspended until the outstanding balance is cleared. Repeated delays in payment may result in the cancellation of your enrollment. In cases where payment remains due for completed classes, Bayyinah Academy reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal action under applicable law.

7. Tutors

Bayyinah Academy ensures that all tutors are thoroughly vetted for both academic and Islamic qualifications and receive continuous training to maintain high teaching standards. We are committed to assigning suitable tutors for each student and addressing any concerns or support needs in a timely and professional manner. Requests related to tutor performance or changes should be directed to the Admin Team for prompt resolution.

8. Academy Commitment to Service Delivery

Bayyinah Academy is committed to ensuring a positive and seamless learning experience from the start. During the enrollment phase, we help you identify the most suitable learning package based on your specific needs. Once confirmed, we coordinate the scheduling of lessons and allocate experienced, qualified tutors accordingly. Throughout your journey with us, we will remain attentive to your concerns and provide prompt assistance whenever needed, ensuring that our services meet your expectations at every stage.

9. Parent/Guardian Duties and Cooperation

As a parent or guardian enrolling a student with Bayyinah Academy, it is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to maintain ongoing communication with our team. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions punctually and to show respectful behavior towards tutors to ensure a positive and productive learning environment. Timely payment of fees, according to the agreed billing schedule, is also your obligation to avoid any disruption in services. Additionally, you must ensure that your child meets the eligibility requirements stated in these Terms and Conditions, including the minimum age clause, and that you understand and comply with all child-related provisions outlined herein. Your cooperation plays a vital role in helping us deliver consistent and effective educational support for your child.

10. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are only available under specific conditions. If a student decides to discontinue classes with Bayyinah Academy, a refund may be requested for any unused, prepaid sessions that have not yet been attended.
  • Refunds will not be issued for: Classes already attended; Missed sessions due to student absence without proper prior notice; Mid-package cancellations initiated by the student without prior approval from the Admin Team.
  • Refunds are only applicable if a class is missed due to a tutor’s absence or a verified technical issue on the academy’s side.
  • To request a refund, the parent/guardian must notify the Admin Team. Once we receive the request, we require up to 24 hours to process the class cancellation. After cancellation is confirmed, the refund will be initiated through our secure payment gateway and credited back to the original payment method (account or card) within 7–10 working days.

11. Changes to Terms and Services

Bayyinah Academy reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms and Conditions, along with any aspect of its services, at any time without prior notice. This may include changes to tutor assignments, teaching methods, course content, pricing plans, or service structure. As a user (parent or student), it is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of Bayyinah Academy services will be considered as acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. While we strive to keep all information current and transparent, some updates may take time to reflect across all communication channels. We appreciate your understanding, as all changes are aimed at improving your experience and the quality of our educational services.

12. Website Use & Content Policy

  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with our platform or digital infrastructure.
  • Upload or distribute any offensive, illegal, inappropriate, or haram content.
  • Misuse any features, forms, or functions of the website.
  • Violate any applicable laws or infringe on the rights of others while using our platform.
  • Use automated tools such as bots or scrapers to collect data from the site.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or restricted areas of the platform.
  • Promote third-party services, products, or advertisements through the platform.

We reserve the right to monitor user activity for security, safety, and compliance purposes. All materials provided during sessions or via our platform—including recordings, lesson content, worksheets, and resources—are intended strictly for personal learning use. Copying, distributing, or using this content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action. All trademarks, logos, text, videos, teaching materials, and other digital content provided by Bayyinah Academy remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy. Users are granted limited, non-transferable, and non-exclusive rights to use them solely for their own non-commercial educational purposes. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for any activity conducted under their account. Bayyinah Academy shall not be held liable for any unauthorized use arising from user negligence. Bayyinah Academy reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any user found in violation of these terms, with or without prior notice, especially in cases involving misuse, infringement, or security breaches.

13. Service Disclaimer

  • The website, classes, or services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or entirely free from technical errors or disruptions.
  • The educational outcomes or learning progress achieved through our platform will always meet your personal goals or expectations.
  • The quality, accuracy, or effectiveness of any content, instructional material, or teaching service will be flawless or entirely error-free.
  • All technical or functional issues will be resolved immediately or without temporary inconvenience.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your own device(s), internet access, and data while using our platform. Bayyinah Academy is not liable for any loss of data, damage to equipment, or security breaches (including viruses or malware) arising during or after use of our website or services.

14. Third-Party Services and External Links

Bayyinah Academy may use third-party tools and platforms (such as secure video conferencing or payment processors) to facilitate the delivery of our services. While we carefully select our partners and service providers, we do not control their privacy policies or terms. Users are advised to review the privacy practices of any third-party services before sharing personal information with them. Where applicable, our affiliates, agents, and service providers are granted only the minimum level of data access required to perform their responsibilities. You acknowledge that any misuse of third-party tools, content, or external links accessed through our platform is your sole responsibility. Bayyinah Academy, including its team, tutors, and affiliates, will not be held liable for any legal or financial consequences arising from such misuse. You agree to bear any legal costs resulting from your actions if they breach our terms or applicable laws. While we strive to avoid sharing any harmful or suspicious links, if you encounter a suspicious message or link that appears to be from Bayyinah Academy, do not interact with it and report it to us immediately.

15. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising from or related to our services, classes, or these Terms and Conditions, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct discussion. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it shall proceed to mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute may then be referred to binding arbitration or handled through the appropriate legal channels. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. By using our services, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK for the resolution of any legal disputes.

16. Communication

Bayyinah Academy may contact you using various communication channels including, but not limited to, email, WhatsApp, SMS, and direct messaging platforms to provide important updates related to your classes, schedules, payments, technical notifications, service improvements, or promotional offers. These communications are general in nature and are not personalised using behavioural profiling or individual browsing activity. You have the right to opt out of receiving non-essential promotional messages by following the unsubscribe link provided in emails or by updating your communication preferences in your account settings. We may use standard tracking tools to monitor the performance of our communications (such as open rates and click-through rates) solely for the purpose of improving message delivery and user engagement.

17. Business Transfers

In the event that Bayyinah Academy undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of the business transaction. Such data transfer will be treated in accordance with the terms of this agreement and applicable data protection laws. In the event of any such transfer, we will provide advance notice to you via email or platform notification. You will be given the opportunity to review the changes and may choose to delete your account and discontinue use of our services before the transfer is completed.

18. Force Majeure

Bayyinah Academy shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure results from causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, governmental actions, pandemics, strikes, civil disturbances, internet or power outages, third-party platform failures, or other force majeure events. In such cases, affected obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event, and the Academy shall make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as practicable.

19. Cookie Usage and Consent

By accessing and using our website, you acknowledge and agree that Bayyinah Academy may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your user experience, analyze usage patterns, and provide relevant information and services.
